TINALS (This Is Not A Love Song) is a self-publishing publication started in 2013 with the series of illustrated cassette tapes, known as "tinals" accompanied by the claim "each cassette an illustrated love song." Inside the plastic packaging of the cassette tapes resides a paper cassette that when opened is stretched out like a horizontal strip revealing the illustration of a song.
Over the years, the project has expanded like wildfire, publishing more and more diverse products but always staying true to its line: making comics and illustration flirt with pop culture and imagery, that is, with music, cinema, TV series, etc., giving rise to atypical publishing products or giving a new function back to disused formats.

A comics, illustration and graphic design contest born from the collaboration with VIVA!, a festival that for years has brought the best of world music to the beautiful Itria Valley (IT).
The 2022 contest consisted in the creation of 1 ticket-poster inspired by Moderat's live show on 6 August at Masseria Grofoleo - Locorotondo (BA) as part of the VIVA! Festival.

CONCEPT
The poster I proposed is about a space story. A galaxy with a woman's face quietly rules the universe, while on earth, scientists and aerospace engineers carry out their experiments.
